“Thank you very much for bringing the Auburn Symphony to Skyridge AGAIN!!! The students just love this assembly. They love hearing about the different instruments in the symphony and hearing all the wonderful music. It was terrific to get the CD ahead of time and play it in our classroom so the music was familiar to the students when they came to the assembly. They also learned about many of the famous composers of the music. The students don’t get many chances to hear such fantastic “old” tunes along with some more “modern-day” tunes. They always especially like hearing a song from a movie or show they have seen. That is really the way to make a connection for them.
