   Are you kidding me??? I go to buy 4 x $7.00 tickets online to the Kinderkonzert and you charge $1/ticket “processing fee” plus another $3.80 for some other “fee”??? Forget it. Why don’t you just roll all that into the price of the ticket and call it what it is: $9/ticket.

     Good morning Kara,

     The KinderKonzert ticket processing fee should be different from the processing fee for other concerts and I’ve adjusted it to $.50. I understand your frustration, but for the convenience of ordering tickets online, we are charged fees by the ticketing provider and the credit card companies. As a nonprofit organization, we must pass some of that on; we would rather be up-front about the fees than roll them into our base ticket prices, which we keep as low as possible and still cover the costs of presenting you with quality performances. For the KinderKonzert, we put much of the funding into bringing busloads of children to the concert (along with the generous support of KinderKonzert sponsors and donors). I’d be more than happy to process your order over the phone; in that way you can avoid the $.95 per ticket online fee.
