It is with deep sadness that we must advise that our event scheduled for October 1, 2020, has been cancelled by White House Bar-B-Que & Spirits. They have shared the following announcement:
“The White House apologizes to the Auburn Symphony patrons for canceling our Noshing for Non-Profits fundraising event. We misunderstood that the regulations requiring a Certificate of Occupancy applied not only to indoor space, but also to the patio space. When we were advised of this, we had to immediately respond.” Nina Salarno Besselman
While we were all excited to not only share a wonderful evening together with delicious food, we were beyond excited to hear our musicians perform live once again. The duet and trio of string players were already pulling together musician favorites and happily rehearsing together in a safe environment to play for YOU.
We are working on the possibility of moving forward with livestreaming our musicians from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. on October 1st as planned, and we will keep you apprised of the details. This way, you can still plan on enjoying an evening with friends and beautiful music!
We will be refunding 100% of the amount you paid for your tickets. Payment will be fully refunded in the form that it was received (cash payments will be refunded via check). We are so very sorry that we will miss seeing you and having a chance to connect in person (safely distanced!), but we will look forward to the next time when we can safely gather.
In the meantime, please keep a careful eye out for our video content, which will be reaching you very soon.
Stay well, be kind, find a silver lining, and see you soon!
