A trip to the concert hall–what an incredible emotional excursion! You take your seat among longtime friends and are also delighted to see new music lovers about to discover the dynamic Auburn Symphony. You hear the orchestra warming up and then tuning their instruments–a wonderful cacophony of sounds embodying the concept of expectation. What’s next?
Well, then the magic happens. You’re listening to The Wild Wild West and you’re outsmarting the bad guys. You’re at The Messiah and singing along in style. You’re hearing The Chairman Dances and you’re doing the foxtrot, or La valse is taking you back to old Vienna. You’ve made it to the opulent Mondavi Center (twice this season!), and you’re marching to victory in The Pines of Rome, or a pre-teenaged genius is treating you to something you never even imagined.
Thank you for helping to make that magic happen, for keeping live music vibrant in the community. Keep encouraging your acquaintances to discover the Auburn Symphony, too–let’s make it the destination of choice! It’s pure inspiration.
Yours with best regards and deep appreciation,
Music Director and Conductor
